One of the best qualities of New Port Richey Florida is access to hiking. There are many opportunities to hike throughout Tampa Bay Florida. I spend some of my weekends hiking.

One of the best hiking trails is the Key Vista Nature Nature Park in New Port Richey Florida:

There is no entrance fee to hike. I would rate it a difficulty level of 2 out of 5. As always check with your doctor for a health check up before undertaking physical activity such as hiking.

It is located right off of Trouble Creek Road on the west side of U.S. Highway 19:

The last time I hiked there I took a short video of it. It’s very peaceful and quiet. Here it is:

The hike is approximately 1.5 miles long. Along the way you can view coastal pine flatwoods to sandhills and mangrove marsh:
